If you've gotten this far, you know we're big believers in adding personality to every aspect of your wedding experience — and that includes the celebrations surrounding it! The wedding shower for one of our favorite couples — a pair of English majors with a strong sense of whimsy — is a perfect example.

Once Curt had proposed in a spinning teacup at Walt Disney World, a Very Merry Un-Shower seemed like the perfect choice. Taking our cues from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and working closely with the entire wedding party, we collected props, created custom invitations and paper goods, designed some ice-breaker games, and developed a menu to bridge the gap between delicate tea-things and hearty appetites. The day of the party, we got there hours ahead of time to plant flamingoes on the lawn, tuck tiny hedgehogs into teacups and stop all the clocks at 6.
